Vancouver ChangeCamp draws citizens and government on June 20th

Date:
June 20, 2009
Location:
Vancouver, BC

Building on the success of Toronto's ChangeCamp, Vancouver is holding its own ChangeCamp on June 20. ChangeCamp is a unique day – a hybrid conference and unconference bringing together citizens, technologists, public sector and not-for-profits to answer two key questions:

  • How can we help government become more open and responsive?
  • How do we as citizens organize to get better outcomes ourselves?

Join ChangeCamp to help answer these questions. Share your stories of change, or find out how to make the change you’re seeking.

The first track of the conference will introduce the kinds of projects that harness new ideas and tools for social change. The ‘unconference’ track means that it will be participant-driven. The agenda created will be set collaboratively at the start of the event, allowing participants to share their experiences and expertise. More info at: www.vanchangecamp.wordpress.com.
