Looking for Inspired Web Editor for C2D2

The Canadian Community for Dialogue and Deliberation is seeking an individual to write, edit and update content for their newly redesigned web site www.c2d2.ca.

This individual will work with the volunteer Board of Directors to ensure all pages of the the new web site are filled with engaging messages, clear information and inspiring imagery.

This editor will need to have a penchant for proof reading, a flair for writing snappy web content, an interest in the field of Dialogue and Deliberation, confidence with learning and using a web based content management system (Drupal), and at least basic French reading skills (preferably bilingual). Basic HTML skills and an eye for web design are a plus, but not required.

This is currently a non-paid volunteer position.  We may be able to offer a modest honorarium in the future.

This role is ideal for anyone interested in demonstrating writing skills and is excellent opportunity to learn more about the dialogue and deliberation sector and to network with leaders in the field from across Canada.

The job requires approximately 2-3 hours of time a week. We are hoping for a long term commitment but would be interested in hearing from anyone who could offer at least a few months on the job.
