Get Involved with New Strategies and Board Members

Canada's national learning community for dialogue, deliberation and collaborative action has made new commitments to growing its network, catalyzing learning opportunities, and advancing D&D across the country. Canadians and our allies are invited to find out more and contribute to these efforts by emailing infoatc2d2 [dot] ca

Five new strategic directions were set for C2D2 in January 2010, at a board of directors meeting in Toronto:

  • Build the network: grow a nationally diversified/representative network of actively involved members
  • Provide value: animate activities, resources and opportunities that add value to our community of members
  • Be Canada's D&D thought leader: catalyze work on the emerging issues and challenges in the field of D&D
  • Create relationships: identify, nurture, connect and grow relationships to strengthen the Canadian D&D community
  • Internal strength: develop our human resources and implement new funding plans

New Board of Directors

C2D2 is also pleased to announce our new Chairs: Dr. Joanna Ashworth (returning), director of Dialogue Programs, Continuing Studies, Simon Fraser University, and, Chandra Rice, Community Engagement Advisor at the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network.

The new Secretary of C2D2 is Jason Diceman, creator of the innovative paper-based advanced Dotmocracy materials.

Sandra Zagon, co-Founder of C2D2, continues as Treasurer.

Miriam Wyman, co-Founder of C2D2, is the past Chair.
