City of Regina Hosts IAP2 Certificate Program in Public Participation - 10-12 May, 2010

The City of Regina is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a certificate program in public participation.

The City of regina strongly supports citizen and stakeholder engagement - an active and involved community helps the City to improve the quality of life for residents. Civic involvement supports decision makers towards better city living and builds strong communities. As part of this commitment, the City is hosting an IAP2 Certificate Program to further build skills and capacity at the City and with its partners and stakeholders for this important function. All are welcome to register.

IAP2 training provides beginning through advanced intermediate practitioners a broad-based learning experience covering all of the foundations of public participation. Each of the three courses in the certificate is designed to provide the fundamentals of public participation that practitioners from around the world can use to implement customized and effective programs.
