Authentic Voice and Dialogue

Date:

Location:
360 Bloor St. W., Suite 407, Toronto

I'm excited to be facilitating an AVD workshop once again. My work with consciousness and voice has been evolving since the 1970s when I lived among several aboriginal groups in Paraguay. The authentic voice is a vehicle to greater confidence, creativity and ease, and enhances communication.

The human voice is both an intimate part of our body and powerful creator of our worlds. When conversations (within ourselves and with others) miscarry, working mindfully with the “uttering organ” can enhance both personal and social cohesion. In fact, finding and using one’s true and natural voice is an important building block towards genuine communication and relationship. We will explore, in a highly experiential way, a method to facilitate the emergence of the authentic voice that will, in turn, enhance a deeper and more integrative dialogue, whether in a counseling environment, interpersonal relationship, consultation, negotiation or conflict resolution.

As well as being energizing and lots of fun, the workshop provides valuable tools which can be practiced to build confidence, leadership and creative expression.

The fee for the day is $85. If you'd like to register or get more information, just let me know via email hugh [at] hughsmiley [dot] com or call 416-924-4941.

warm greetings - Hugh
